Help break the cycle of community harm and violence.

Volare relies on pro bono attorneys, volunteers, and fellow neighbors to break down barriers to justice and healing, and ultimately build a community that supports survivors.

volunteer opportunities

Trauma can be a heavy burden—one
survivors should never carry alone.

Research support

Research volunteers support Volare in a number of ways, including looking up addresses, identifying stalkers on social media, discovering various pilot programs for HIV prevention, and digging up statistics on crime rates.

Operations support

As a mid-sized nonprofit, we’re always searching for volunteers to host fundraisers, distribute resources as they become available, organize supplies, and yes—even recruit and organize other volunteers.

TRIAL SUPPORT

We rely on volunteers to create template motions, investigate case law, and lobby for survivor rights. Through our Survivor Rights’ Watch program, volunteers identify and report back on survivor rights issues that arise during proceedings.

Virtual support

Now, you can support survivors without leaving your home. Volunteers can assist with social media posts, collecting client feedback, launching a virtual fundraising campaign, or providing translation services.
