WHAT IT MEANS TO
Create a restorative ecosystem of justice and healing.
At Volare, mental health, legal, and advocacy support work in tandem, creating a holistic approach to recovery. Here, healing doesn’t end with the survivor—instead, we aim to heal our legal and healthcare systems, neighborhoods, and communities as a whole.
How your donation continues to innovate and sustain survivor-defined justice.
VERTICAL ADVOCACY MODEL
Retelling one’s story can be traumatic for survivors. We pair survivors with the same people for the entirety of their journey.
EXPANDED OPTIONS FOR SURVIVORS
We aim to help survivors in any way we can, for as long as we can. We leverage referrals, connections, and flex donations to fulfill urgent needs.
24/7 CRISIS SUPPORT
We meet clients where they’re at—figuratively and literally. For sexual assault and rape survivors, we have two advocates on call at all times, ensuring no survivor is ever alone.
BROKEN DOWN BARRIERS TO JUSTICE
We work with survivors of any type of crime, and welcome those of all genders, sexual identities, backgrounds, immigrant statuses, and income levels.
